WHEN THE TIME COMES
C-Print, Wood, Slide Projectors
18x30x9 feet
2010

The image sifting across the installation comes from an empty house in Alicante that is periodically occupied by seasonal migrants who come to the South East of Spain to work in the tomato plantations. It is an empty space that sometimes functions as a shelter, but once the workers leave, the space is left to deteriorate. The slides projectors move back and forth projecting these two images onto the installation; and we wait for the moment when the images coincides with the construction.

Installation as part of the show 'Waiving In and Out' organized by No Longer Empty in Harlem, New York.
